Good morning all! Hope you had a great long weekend!

Hope everyone had a great memorial day

and thanked some soldiers! My dad is retired

Air Force so I know how hard it is to have a family

member be called over sees and be gone along time.

Well today is my turn for a challenge!! I decided to do a 

photo inspiration challenge. I have made it a bit

easier on y'all tho and have made it a collage of

photos so hopefully one of them will inspire you!

- I need at least 8 entries for a prize to be given
- you can enter a max of 2 cards or layouts

My challenge rules to be eligible for the prize:

1. Create one project (card or scrapbook page) 

using the photo/photos as inspiration and put

it on your blog.

2. Must be a new creation, no back-linking.

3. In your blog post say what inspired you from 

the photo/photos.

4. Link your project up using the inlinz tool below or in the comments

Pray for Moore Oklahoma

I'm sure most of y'all know about the tornado that went through

Moore Oklahoma yesterday. It went 2 miles south of

our home but our rent house received damage. Structure

still good though and luckily it is empty at the moment.
across the street the movie theater that we were at less
then 24 hours before sustained damage. Our bowling alley
and bank are wiped out. The gas station that my husband always
goes to is no longer... Such sadness.

My husband and I have a few friends that have lost

everything. One of which is having a baby

tomorrow. Other friends don't have roofs but are 

still able to salvage household items. I'm so thankful

that all our friends and family are safe. I am aslo

thankful to the Moore school district for taking quick

measure to keeping the kids at WHS and not letting them leave.

My sister took a picture from school of the tornado.

It was less then 1/2 mile away from them.

Please keep everyone here in your thoughts and prayers.

The Lord is still on His throne and He knows

what everyone is going through. the people of

Moore are strong and so many have come

to help search for people and clean up.

Mojo Monday 293 and Verve May Diva Hop

I certainly hope everyone is having a good week so far.

The card I have for y'all this evening is for this

week's Mojo Monday sketch and the Verve May Diva Hop.

The Diva Dare challenge copied from the Verve Blog:

Stars & Stripes May Diva Dare
This month's dare pays tribute to Diva Amber's (Stamping Scrapbooker) 

military service and Diva Laurie Willison's (Soapbox Creations) 

wonderful use of stripes on her cards.  Create a card using stars and/or stripes.  

While the title may conjure up visions of red, white and blue

 any stars and stripes will do! If you're feeling pretty in pink, go for it!

 Just remember to use at least one Verve product on your creation! 

 If you want to get really daring, you can add the extra challenge of 

making it a CAS card with stars and/or stripes, as that is Diva Laurie's signature style.  

However, that is not a requirement, just an optional twist 

to the Dare if you're feeling daring!

Wow I haven't posted a card since Tuesday! It has been

a busy week for me! Tonight is the first night since

last Thursday that I haven't had somewhere

to be... It 's so nice to just chill out at home and relax.
